November is National Family Caregivers month – a time to recognize and appreciate the work that all caregivers do by providing care to our parents, grandparents and loved ones with disabilities.
Yet, many caregivers continue to struggle to make ends meet due to low wages. And with our growing senior population the demand for care will soon exceed the caregivers available to deliver care unless we are able to attract and retain workers.
It’s time to make the future of long term care a national discussion that delivers real solutions.
This November join Local 2015 in celebrating the work of our caregivers and making them the priority they deserve to be!
