We Care Shasta
There are over 3,000 long term care workers in Shasta County. Most make just $9.64 an hour to provide crucial health care services. They deserve more.
Robert Brown is the sole income earner in his house and gives his 12-year-old son essential care. “My son depends on me 100 percent and he depends on my being able to pay the rent and buy the basic necessities that we need to survive… $9.64 an hour is not enough to survive on in this economy.”
Stand with Robert as he and others demand a livable wage from the Shasta County Board of Supervisors. Use the hashtag #WeCareShasta to show your support.
