North Park in Tracy is home to around 100 residents whose care is provided by skilled nursing essential workers (including CNAs, LVNs, activities, dietary, housekeeping staff, and more) who are also proud members of SEIU 2015. Right now, new leadership at North Park is demanding that workers and their families pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket to keep their healthcare coverage, freezing wages and slashing jobs, and even eliminating positions that they are legally required to meet with the Union about.
We’re are not standing for this. We’re demanding that Aspen respect us, protect us and pay us. As a private investor-owned corporation that owns nearly 20 nursing homes in California and whose yearly revenue is over $188 million, we know they have the ability to do this.
