May 1st, 2025, members of SEIU Local 2015, the nation’s largest long-term care union, and California’s largest labor union representing more than half a million care workers across California—are gathering for May Day also known as International Workers’ Day to march and celebrate the invaluable contributions of immigrant workers who play a crucial role in our economy across industries and communities.
Caregivers —mostly women of color—are using their voice to speak up for the immigrant workers as part of peaceful actions happening across the country and to honor their essential contributions and sacrifices they have made to our nation in the fight for economic, racial, and immigrant justice.
