Care is what holds our families and communities together. Every Californian deserves access to quality, affordable long-term care, and every care worker deserves dignity, respect, and livable wages. Together, we can elect leaders who will protect and invest in care for generations to come. 

What is a Care Voter?

Care Voters believe care is the foundation of strong families, healthy communities, and a thriving economy. We vote for leaders who will stand with care workers, seniors, children and adults with disabilities, and the families who rely on care every day.

As Care Voters, we know our care system isn’t working for the people who depend on it or the workers who make it possible. Too many families struggle to find affordable, quality care, while the workforce – made up predominantly of women, women of color, and immigrants – is underpaid and undervalued.

Care Voters come from every community. We’re SEIU 2015 members, family members, friends, neighbors, care recipients, faith leaders, and allies who believe care should be a priority in every election. Together, we’re building a movement to elect leaders who will protect Medi-Cal, strengthen long-term care, respect care workers, and ensure every Californian can live and age with dignity.
