July 26 National Day of Action: Families First

July 21, 2025

Families First is a national day of action on July 26, 2025, uniting people across race, class, geography, and justice movements to defend healthcare, safety, food, education, and dignity for all families. In all 50 states, parents, workers, immigrants, patients, and community leaders are marching, rallying, and speaking out against a wave of coordinated attacks that threaten our healthcare, our safety, our planet, and our future.

Congress just passed the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” — a $4.5 trillion theft from working families of every race. It guts Medicaid, SNAP, child care, and higher education, while enriching ICE, polluters, and the ultra-rich. It rips apart the foundation our families rely on to survive, especially in Black, brown, immigrant, and low-income communities. Meanwhile, the same politicians hand billions in tax breaks to greedy corporations and billionaires.

The people behind these cuts want us afraid and divided. But we’re not falling for it. We choose care. We choose safety. We choose dignity. We choose each other—together, across race and across movement. This is not just a protest. This is how we organize, reclaim our power, and protect what matters most.

We believe in a future where every family has food on the table, care when they need it, safe schools, and protection from climate disasters—no matter our race, where we come from, or what we earn. We’re taking action not just to defend what we have, but to build something better—together.
