Los Angeles Labor Leaders led by SEIU California President David Huerta to underscore labor’s solidarity to demand De Leon and Cedillo’s Immediate Resignation

Los Angeles, CA – On October 18, regional labor leaders, representing nurses, healthcare workers, janitors, social workers, security officers, in-home caregivers, school and university employees, court workers, and city, county and state employees, will unite to denounce the failed leadership on display in the leaked audio and rally outside City Hall to demand city councilmembers Kevin De Leon and Gil Cedillo resign immediately. The statements made by the city councilmembers betray the labor movement’s foundation of solidarity among all working people.
