WATSONVILLE — For many, Monday was simply a day off. For the Monterey Bay Central Labor Council, it was a call to action and a reminder of what the Labor Day holiday stands for.
The organization, which represents 80 affiliated unions and more than 37,000 members throughout the Monterey Bay, hosted its first march and rally — dubbed “Families First, Not Billionaires.” Read online here.
