Alameda County’s 6,000 Chinese-American nurses are getting a pay rise, expected to take effect in September

阿拉米達縣6000華裔護工要漲薪了預計9月生效長期家庭護理工會（SEIU 2015）本周與阿拉米達縣達成初步協議，家庭護工在未來三年內漲薪18%，在2025年1月1日達到時薪20元的水準。阿縣目前有2萬1000個護工，其中四分之一為亞裔，多數為華裔。華裔護工約6000人。做了20多年家庭護工的華人朱麗霞（Lisa Zhu）5日呼籲更多同事加入工會，也希望工會為會員爭取退休金等更多福利。
