“The three mass shootings that have taken place in California over the past three days are tragic and senseless acts of violence that have resulted in the loss of too many innocent lives. We condemn these atrocities and offer our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. It is important to note that these horrific acts have taken place in a state with some of the strongest gun safety laws in the country, once again demonstrating that gun violence is a national epidemic that can only be addressed through a comprehensive federal response. We must come together as a community and stand up to the gun industry and politicians who are continuing to offer their thoughts and prayers instead of taking meaningful action to prevent these types of senseless acts from happening again.”
