“This Monday, an alarming draft opinion was leaked from the Supreme Court – the majority opinion would strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, in a move that goes against established precedent and the majority of Americans who support upholding Roe. This decision is directly and deeply related to our work here at SEIU 2015—86% of long term care workers are women, and the majority are women of color. They are part of the communities who will be most profoundly affected by this ruling if it comes to fruition. We have fought for decades for the right to choose and we’re not giving up now. ”
